Allan:
In four weeks, you can grow a nice salad mix. If you have the
market, it should be the most profitable green you can grow in a
month. --Plant individual species in separate rows, spaced tightly.
You'll be able to cut before you transplant the tomatoes.
If you've started them already, you can also put in basil
seedlings on the edges of the beds. You'll have to leave them past the
time you transplant the tomatoes, but they will grow quickly in that
environment and give you nice bunches early in the season--when you
can get a fair bit for them.
