Diatomaceous earth in the very small size will work on lice. It works
mechanically like glass slivers would on a human it gets into the soft areas
the on the lice and they bleed to death. It won't hurt livestock and would
probably be good if they eat it. If the screening is to large like swimming
pool filter earth it will not do the job. It has to be the small screening.
