When up loading pictures for the web make sure you edited them in your
photo editor before posting. If you have a digital camera you have the
software to reduce the pixel count of your photos. My photos usually
download to my HD at around 1280x960 pixels-big pics that load really
slowly. I than edit them to 400x300 pixels. At this size they are plenty
big enuff for the web (not a thumbnail) and more importantly they load
quickly even with slow dail-up modems.

If you print out your digital photos than make an copy of the original
size for that purpose.
