I discontinue all pesticide applications when the first tomatoes are ready to
sell. A staged planting will be harvested for usually three weeks, in that
time I never have a problem with hornworms, the few I find are parasitized by
wasps. There are alot of acres of tomatoes in my county and we have a
biological control program where predator insects are released to control
hornworms and other bad actors. The program really works.
If you are growing organic, in balance with nature, why do you have so many
hornworms???
