Best bet is to check with your local health department and find out for
sure. Most states require that any processed foods be prepared in a
certified kitchen. These can often be rented for a small fee from a
church or community college which teaches culinary stuff. SOME states
will allow you to sell a certain amount of processed foods from the farm
without inspection but you have to keep very good records that can be
inspected. (They may not inspect the facilities, but may require that
your records be available for inspection at any reasonable time without
notice.)
