Based on your location, one layer should give you a hoophouse production
system that will allow production through Winter of cool-season veggies.
Then you can plant your warm-season veggies by mid-March, or perhaps
earlier. Perhaps the Weidegers can contribute to this thread. They've used
hoophouses in Kentucky for a long time. You should be able to find
references to their website in the archives. It hase some good images and
discussion of hoophouse production.
