Sunday, June 17, 2 PM - 8 PM: CORN PLANTING DANCE. Come see and take part in this ancient community event as we interplant the Iroquois' Three Sisters (corn, beans, and squash) with prayer, drumming, dance, and joy! Bring a drum or other musical instrument if you have one, and a dish to pass for our potluck picnic supper. Please do not bring disposable dishes; soap and water will be available for cleanup. Wear flat shoes, bring sunscreen and insect repellent for children. Free for members, $10 non-members. Every participant receives a coupon good for a FREE pumpkin in October!
Saturday, June 22, 5 PM - ???: SUMMER SOLSTICE PARTY. Goat walk on the labyrinth trail through our 10-acre wildlife refuge, potluck picnic supper (bring a dish to pass and washable dishes), bonfire, drumming, singing, firefly chase, and storytelling contest with prizes! Wear flat shoes, bring a jacket and insect repellent for children. Free for members, $10 non-members.
