We have grown garlic for the past few years. I find garlic to be one of the
easiest crops to grow. We have sold wholesale as well as direct from our
farm. There are lots of possibilities with garlic -spring garlic, garlic
bulbs, garlic braids. Last year I made a wonderful pickled garlic from a
recipe in my Stocking Up III book that was an asian recipe. It was absolutely
wonderful for stir fries. I think the hardneck varieties sell slightly better
although we have both. I got my garlic from garlicsmiths. I would have to
look up the variety. We are in Ohio as well.
