Try cutworm collars. We make ours from old plastic cups (we recycle
people's beer cups the few times a year we get out socially). Cut the
bottom out of the cup and than cut the cylinder in half so each 12 oz
cup will yield 2 collars. Put a collar around each plant and the cutworm
problems is solved. We put out hundreds each year for brassicas.
