GRAFTING WORKSHOP - 10 am, Saturday, March 10, at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship (located in the hills outside of Hillsboro, VA

This Saturday Biodynamic heirloom orchardist Jim Marquardt will lead a workshop on creating new trees from cuttings (scion) from existing trees.

The class is free. A donation of $10 will provide you with pots, soil, rootstock and scionwood for creating your own heirloom apple trees while you learn one of the most empowering forms of plant propagation from a very experienced professional grower. (Jim is also currently the president of the board of the Joesphine Porter Institute of Applied Biodynamics.)
