Dave/Julie,
I would recommend waiting until your soil samples are tested. My lab gives
both organic and chemical recommendations along with crops which help build
up the soil. I like recommending Black or Soft Rock Phosphate, Greensand
supplemented with Liquid Seaweed when Potash levels are low. I also
recommend Gypsum for balancing the soil system. BUT, send in your samples
and see what your actual soil needs are before going out and investing in
soil amendments and fertilizers!!!!!!!!! You could be throwing your money
away if you aren't putting on what the soil needs!
