We found ours did best between 7-8 weeks. Ours usually weigh between 4-5 lbs. dressed. Your chickens were big! Your turkeys were huge!! We haven't done turkeys yet but we get requests all the time. Maybe that will be next. We buy froma farmer who has pastured turkeys and they are wonderful.

Thanks
Our broilers got to be 6-8 pounds in 6 weeks and we were getting 7-8 dollars
each for them . What did yours average and how old are they when butched. We
did some turkeys and waited tooooooo long they averaged 38 lbs one was 44lbs.
Everyone complained they were to big. We got $1.35 lbs for them . Some said
they had to cut them in half to cook them. We are trying to find out the
right timing and price . Thanks for all your help
