Why is the pH so high???
Hugh Lovel notes, in "A BioDynamic Farm", that he added so much wood ash
to his soil, he raised the pH above 8.0 and "nothing would grow there".
Is there an/other alternative - can you move the gardens to another
space and test that soil?
