The compost temps should not heat up enough to release
plasticizers--these are very stable. I've contacted a couple of
scientists for definitive answers, and will let you know what I find
out. Anyone here have any input??
The baffles are needed--look inside a clothes dryer! You can make
compost without them, but they speed up the process.
I think I'll build one like Himes for comparison.
