I just received the March issue of Horticulture. (Not exactly the mag I
thought it was, but I digress...)
There's a new "...state-of-the-art forecast tool which creates a weekly
snapshot of where drought is emerging, lingering, subsiding or forecast."
You can access this regularly updated Drought Monitor at:
http://enso.unl.edu/monitor/monitor.html
Although the info is regional, it still offers important tendencies.
Just looked real interesting, especially in light of last year's drought.
