Here is a quote from the Fedco 2000 catalog, "Only a few of our seed crops
are organically grown, and these are clearly noted in the catalog."

>
>Fedco does not have a website to speak of. It justs says they exist, but
>the site is not interactive, and they don't even have an e-mail address!
>
>FEDCO's number is 207-873-7333.
>
>One of the reasons they do so little in the way of advertising is it keeps
>their costs down. Their catalog, while very thick, has no colored pictures,
>although the descriptions are full and very interesting.
>
>They don't have banks of people manning phones; they charge YOU if you order
>by fax; they don't have a great website. But what they do have is CHEAP
>PRICES.
>
>Their quality is very high. Oh, and another intersting thing about Fedco is
>that they code every seed to let you know whether the company or farm - be
>it a small farm or a huge one - is involved in genetic manipulation.
>However, none of their seed is GM'd. The information is just about those
>particular companies.
>
>Most of the seed is organically grown. They give generous discounts if the
>orders get in by a certain time. But even without the discounts, you can't
>beat the prices!
