installing forum software is something i keep meaning to do. I wanted to make common login between forums, wiki, and possibly trac before i set it up though. which is a good way of never getting it done i gues.
marsart sounds great. next weekend i'll have some time to help you with it more. we can make it so there is no /lyceum, just marsart.com, or blogs.marsart.com

Dear John,
thanks for all your work and the quick answers.
There is so much that one has to get to know regarding lyceum.
I love Lyceum [have WPMU also installed [before lyceum install]
and really, really want to get Lyceum going and ditch WPMU -
Do you think it might be worth to create a "Forum" for Lyceum users?
Just for the common questions that are already answered in the mailing list,
one could organize that by subject categories in a forum,
and ultimately use the posted info's to put together at least a "beginners"
manual, installation manual [like a ste-by-step in plain english and so on.
I know that you are only 2 working on that project part time, I do know what
this is like -
lost my programmer a few weeks ago to a horrible car accident, and ever
since I had to learn how to install things myself etc.
--------------------
I will need to ask a few more questions for help - but will post those to
the mailing list, so others can see the answers also.
Thanks
Michele
Ps: I intent to pull off marsart blogs with Lyceum and make it a frontrunner
blog system that can show off all the capabilities of lyceum.
But I need to make the site "visually" beautiful, because we are dealing
with Art for Mars.
The blogs I need, because NASA and ASU have so many scientists that are also
creating art[space art], there are scattered small communities, but nothing
that givs any of them a place where they can have a free blog on their own,
yet kind of be in a community relating to space, particularely to Mars
exploration.
Scientists and such artists are kind of finniky - they wouldn't just go and
get a blog from "Bloggers" etc. - it's too generic for them, and on the
other hand they don't have time to install WP themselves -
so = www.marsart.org/lyceum is the new place for them.
I promised them already last week for it to be done by saturday, but had
trouble installing correctly, eliminating the "src" directory = because I
needed the url to be immediatly "lyceum".
Funny, I went to a Lyceum in Austria [where I originally am from] - maybe
thats another reason why I love the word.
