I can poultry all the time  Turkey I do boneless, chicken I prefer to leave the bone in  It will last several years on the shelf especially if it is not exposed to sunlight

I am interested in canning chicken as a means of  preservation and would like peoples experience with deboning as opposed to bone in and how long it will keep.  Thanks
