My co-host Barb knows that market, grew up in CT. It's really that old.
These kind of problems tell us it's better to keep our distance from
USDA
influence on markets. They have these state programs funded by USDA
indirectly, and they get their foot in the door and collect a lot of
data
on growers. I don't like it.

In other news, we picked our first red ripe tomato today, and I promptly
ate it with a pinch of sea salt. It's a late season tomato started in
March. The flavor lingers a very long time.
