 I say save some seeds from that one.  If no other curcubits nearby you could have drought resistant variety started.

 

Check flavor on these, if volunteer, no telling what is mixed in.

This has been a VERY hot and dry summer, and discouraging with regard to growing food.  However, I had a cantaloupe volunteer that has been fine through the heat and drought.
