Hi folks. Looks like I've had another glitch with Verizon's web mail. I did
a reply to an existing e-mail, likely from Mr. Willhite (sorry!), and gutted
it in order to fill in my posting and this is what happened. I do this from
time to time, but on occasion (and for what reason I do not know) it does
this :-(
Sorry for any confusion.
NOTE: I'll add the e-mail address to my address book and from this point on
use only It to post new postings!

Subject: [Livingontheland] Refractometer recommendation?
I continue to be intrigued by BRIX being a reliable measurement of quality,
and was wondering whether anyone could recommend a refractometer. There
seems to be a huge array of them. I'm willing to spend a few bucks for one.
It's reductionist, I know, but I'm curious. I'd like to use this to promote
good food-growing practices (which I am seemingly unable to get on track to
do: I need to put my knowledge [gained mostly from this group] to work in
some productive way.)
