Regarding high yield factory farming and open pollinated corn. There is a
guy in Minnesota working on 2 lines/varieties/sets (I don't know what the
proper term is for OP crop) of open pollinated corn that is showing some
good yield on organic management and they also are expressing high mineral
content. Also some work being done at Michael Field's Institute with OP
corn for high methoinine for better chicken feed among others. Within this
OP segment there exists some people working to get results beyond yield,
with yield, naturally.
