So far left, they are Right? At times, but almost everyone is suspicious of the FARM 21 bill.

It is a lot like what G W. wanted to do with Social Security. It makes the farmers invest in more crop insurance instead of the government doing it, based on the debt/property ratio being 'low' at this point in time. (According to the D/P ratio, farmers can afford more of the risk, by their thinking.)Unfortunately, the ratio is skewed by inflated property values and inflated dollars.
The result will most likely be that farmers end up taking more risk in the short term, and economically failing when property values and dollar values have a 'correction'.

As Paul said: it is best to handle the farm situation ourselves: smaller farms, more of them (more hands and eyes on the land), local economies, distributed human risk, instead of concentrated farms, single-point food contamination threats, and high maintenance overhead for accountants and tax preparers and lawyers in Washington.

I tend to distrust anyone that the NYT (mouthpiece of Empire) likes.

so far Right, I'm Left.

This is a vindication of everything political on this
list! And it is from my home state. I am so proud to
be an (expatriate) American!

Of course, it helps that the New York Times likes him.

it is 'Write your congressman time again.'
