Biogas produces good methane, plus excellent compost.
I think it is appropriate for this list because the
remainder is a good soil builder.

In the ethanol debate, I was waiting for information
to show up on the potential of Biogas to replace
petroleum. I imagine that the ethanol ingredient
materials can be fed to animals, and the biogas
collected from their manure plus the harvest wastes.

This also prevents greenhouse gases from escaping
(assuming the animals are potty-trained . . . )

The ethanol debate has provoked some interesting
comments about the political lobby of fat-cats who can
capitalize and centralize the materials; so perhaps it
is good news that the two www pages listed above show
a large scale, and a smale scale, application of
Biogas that would appeal to the present politicians as
well as participants in Living On the Land.

Sincerely,
Zachary
