Dan Hemenway lives on a farm in Florida. He is teaching a
PC workshop in Oklahoma this summer. He has sponsored
permaculture distance education for the last so many years.
The Yankee Permaculture publications from Hemenway are
still a classic introduction to North Amercian systems.

I know or correspond with hundreds and hundreds of
permaculture workshop graduates. Just about everybody
has adopted some aspect of permaculture in their land
care management.

Permaculture is about sustainable living systems, appropriate
technology, ecological design, and reducing your ecological
footprint.

There are bioregional and permaculture groups
all over the country making a difference.

David Holmgren was the co-developer of permaculture.
His books and articles are a progressive and practical source
of concepts and ideas, beyond Mollison.
