No cold stratification required. I suggest you start your seeds relatively early (early March). Whilst they germinate relatively quickly, they take quite awhile to thicken their stems, etc so as to be ready to transplant outside in late May.

Hi,
Thanks Joe.
My guess is these seeds are from hybrid plants. What commercial pepper farmer would use heirloom pepper seed? So I may get peppers slightly different than the hybrid itself, but they should be peppers.
Nothing ventured…
Will these require cold stratification?

Approximately two weeks. Always err on the side of long; not short time. Once you pour the dry seeds into a small medicine bottle for storage, you’ll hear the unmistakable sound of solidly dried seeds hitting the bottom of container. If not sure leave the container open, out of light for a couple more weeks.

Tom, I have saved seeds from peppers over the years. Simply separate the seeds, put them in a dish or on waxed paper where they get good air circulation and, once fully dried/cured, put them in some container for storage (I use small medicine plastic containers).
Hi,
Approximately how many days for plump red peppers seeds to be cured?
Thanks, Tom --
