Hi,
Our resident apple expert is Biz. Have you looked at the inventory of the Genebank?
You could order scions from the Genebank (or any other source), and have Woodwinds do some custom grafting for you (if you do not graft).
In doing a very quick scan, with my less than perfect eyes, it does not show either apple in the Genebank inventory.
Hopefully, someone else will know about Ashmead's Kernel and Pixie Crunch in Canada.
Later,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Finally got around to joining your list - busy time of year! (Glad I am not a farmer)
You have helped me in the past and I was hoping you might be able to steer me to a source for:
Ashmead's Kernel and Pixie Crunch.
Bill And Derry's in BC may have Asmead's. Nothing from Woodwind's or Siloam in Ont. Pixie Cr is almost unknown. Bill can prepare one (AK) for me for the fall of 2006, but I don't want to loose another year.
Do you know of any other sources - whips, trees or scions?
Cheers!
