Hello. I spoke with a Harrow pathologist and former pathology technician regarding AQ10. As a control for greenhouse cucumber powdery mildew, AQ10 (Ampelomyces quisqualis) is not as effective as Sporodex (Sporothrix flocculosa). However, this is not to say that Sporodex was that great. The technician said that over repeated experiments she was never able to demonstrate that it had any significant effect on powdery mildew infection. Apparently a researcher in Holland has had some success.
I think it is worth pointing out that powdery mildew control in a greenhouse is quite a different challenge compared to field control.
