You'll pay a premium to get a support contract activated and I don't
know if they'll jack the price on the contract.

Out of warranty support entails a telephone call, which will cost you
$50 just to get to diagnose your problem. Any real support after that
will cost more and you'll have to pay full cost for any parts, and a
premium on top of that if you want rapid delivery.
