Earthlink is TW under the covers.  They charge a bit less but use the same lines. I bounce back and forth between the two for support when I have an issue.  Earthlink is the old Mindspring that acquired Nando.net. I've had them as an ISP for more than a dozen years. Am so frustrated with my service in this past year.

Is DSL really more reliable and consistently faster?

I know.  I've had the Roku player going all day.  I'd hate to have to pay extra.  Plus I can't get DSL where I'm living.

What about Earthlink?  Are they going to cap usage as well?

They're also rolling this out in San Antonio.  Yay me.

Fortunately, there's another cable/internet outfit in my neighborhood
that I can switch to.

Srsly?  40GB/month in the era of Netflix and Hulu?
