Tanner,

I don't work for TWC, but I believe the idea behind "Business Class" service is that the business users will expect a higher level of customer service and a quicker turnaround time on repairs (i.e. it is not strictly about bandwidth or usage).

Whether this level of service actually exists or is provided is another question entirely.

Best,
Dave M.

My church qualifies for Portbridge DSL server...

The first thing I thought when I read this thread was "why
shouldn't TWC treat churches as businesses?". It seems obvious
to me that they are businesses though perhaps not-for-profits.
I guess it is a slippery slope for TWC when there are so many
non-profits and not-for-profits that would start wanting subsidized
service.
That reminds me: The "Church of Roger" needs cheap service too!

Actually, my question is why should they charge more just because
it's a business? Bandwidth is bandwidth and the bandwidth doesn't
distinguish between being a residence or being a business. TWC is
charging more for businesses just because they can, but that
doesn't make it right.

Cheers,
Tanner
