you should. especially as a so called IT professional. Opening your files to being tmapered with. Even though it is shitty hippy music. And I don't believe the original post said he was wanting to transfer music. Maybe the integrity of his data matters. Your advice is just plain irresponsible.

Use what works best for you. Everyone has different needs.

Yes but do so in a safe secure manner that does not sacrifice the integrity of your data for both you and any potential recipient. Especially if you or they are using Windows.
