All,

It's been a while since I posted here, but I find myself in need of advice from the group (yes, this is another address for me).

During the recent rains, the exhaust fan in my upstairs bathroom has started dripping water. A check in the crawl space (complete with unnecessary feline assist) above the bathroom indicates no obvious leaks in the roof itself.

Further exploration shows that the water is coming from duct that vents the bathroom fan. There is a pipe visible in the crawl space that goes up through the roof that would be in the right location for the air to exit.

So, my working theory is that something has gone wrong with the venting system that is allowing rain water to travel down the pipe to the bathroom fan. Which is really beyond my ability, and my ladder system, to fix.

So, can anyone recommend somebody who can come to Durham, check out the venting system , determine if I'm right, and then fix it, if necessary?

Paul
