I have done this--sort of--when I arrive late for a movie and then stay around to catch the beginning of the next showing.
 
I've also sometimes bought a ticket for a movie and then after I'm in the theater, decide to watch something different (I don't like doing that but sometimes the movie I bought a ticket for is too bad to watch.)
