+1 on GoDaddy. Decent service, great prices and once you get used to wading through the extra crap they want to sell you it's not bad at all. Be sure to look for "QUICK CHECKOUT" to bypass most of them.

I register lots of domain names, usually on a whim, and often let them expire after a year (the latest is yrusonoz.com). Now I notice that if I let one of these domains expire, some company in Panama buys them and offers to sell them back to me. Too funny.
