Frist is pushing to the brink on the Senate filibuster rule. I called
our esteemed Senators this morning to tell them that I oppose the
"nuclear option" (using that term). I urge y'all to do the same.

Here is contact information for Burr and Dole in DC.

Burr, Richard- (R - NC)
217 RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-3154
Web Form: burr.senate.gov/index.cfm?FuseAction=Contact.Home

Dole, Elizabeth- (R - NC)
555 DIRKSEN SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-6342

It occurs to me that the most important part of the filibuster/cloture
rule in the Senate is that it is a safeguard against radicalism from
whichever side of the aisle. FWIW, that is the single talking point I
used with them.
