Hello to all,

I promise not to abuse this list, but thought some of you might be interested in the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s next Technology Forum.  It will be from 5:30-8:00 on December 15th at Duke’s new CIEMAS building with a focus on Offshore Outsourcing.  IT entrepreneurs often face conflicting thoughts when it comes to offshore outsourcing, particularly in North Carolina, where the traditional economy has been battered by corporate off shoring.  While building strong companies that create jobs and wealth in their communities, IT entrepreneurs face intense, live-or-die competitive pressures to ramp up products and enter international markets quickly.  The December Technology Forum will feature an excellent line up of speakers who will engage in panel discussion that tackles the big questions about outsourcing and best practices utilized by entrepreneurs, VCs and service providers in RTP and worldwide.

Panelists Include: Michael A. Eason, VP of Development, Peopleclick; Rich Cronheim, Co-founder, Relativity Technologies; Renat Khasanshyn, Chief Executive Officer, ALTOROS Systems; Tim Reger, IBM; Peter Dolina, Vice President, International IT Services; and Moderator Bud Whitmeyer, Research Triangle Ventures.

Pre-registration is available at https://secure.cednc.org/programs/industry_forums/technology_forum/ register.htmls

On site registration will also be available.  For more information contact the CED’s Zack Mansfield at 919-549-7500 ext 119 or zmansfield AT cednc.org.

Thank you.
