i hear ya, this (and the other email) are examples of software that could/should be oss because then it could be ported (since os x is so unix-y its easier to port stuff than it was back in the dark ages)
then again, the google api was released, i wonder if anyone has tried to make a toolbar for safari? or even mozilla or *bird (thunderbird now?)
