Try typign "rpm -ql mysql-server" which will give you the location of
all the files in the mysql-server package. (If that gives you an error
about the package not existing, doea command like "rpm -qa |grep -i
mysql" to see the exact names of the MySQL packages installed.)

There might be quite a few files in that RPM listing, but I suspect the
locations you're looking for are in /var . If you can't decipher it,
please post the output of first command back to the list and I can
help.
