Anyone want a free computer that needs a new hard drive but is now just
taking up space in my closet? Or a laptop that I once spilled a drink on but
that seems to work in general? Or a cordless telephone (Southwestern Bell
phone--white--still in original package) that I got for xmas (I haven't had
a landline for over a year so I can't use it)?
I'd give specs on said machinery, but I don't know really remember what they
are. I'm kind of a luddite when you get right down to it. I do all kinds of
stuff with/to my computer, but the "silly details" of all this wacko
technology escape me (I'm on this list because I want to learn stuff, not
because I actually have anything useful to contribute).
I know the PC has a decent processor and that it's encased in an
unnecessarily large box, but that's about it. I just want it out of my
closet. Ditto for the laptop. I don't want money for them because I couldn't
begin to price them and I just can't justify charging for stuff I can't
actually describe in detail. I just want them gone because I don't use them
and I hate having stuff around that I don't use.
I also have a large attic that is pretty much empty, if anyone wants cheap
storage space. I'd put more stuff up there, but I have a totally wrecked
back and can't haul stuff up there without risking serious injury. And I'm
scared of attics anyway.
And there are some pots on my back steps that are there for the taking (the
kind for plants, not random drugs sitting around out there). Come steal
them.
Hmm. Maybe I do feel the effects of cabin fever after all. One more day of
this and I'll start giving away everything I own.
Holler if you want any of this stuff. Write me offlist or call 593-4198.
Beth
