POSITION
SUMMARY:
Responsible for all aspects of implementing, developing,
and enhancing software applications used to conduct the business of
the University.

Essential Functions:
Software development:
Analyzes and documents administrative business processes and problems.
Designs solutions to automate processes and solve problems to meet
business needs. Creates functional/technical specifications. Creates
accurate and reasonable estimates and timelines. Creates or enhances
software. Creates comprehensive software testing plans. Designs,
documents and executes program and system test scripts. Creates
program and system documentation. Implements software solutions
following business computing standard implementation processes.

Investigates and provides solutions to application issues, i.e. bug
fixes, customer support.
Trains technical and/or functional users
(customer trainers, support technicians, etc.) on new software
developments and enhancements.
Researches and gains expertise on
software products and software development methodologies, as assigned.

Performs other related functions and duties as required.
