Job Title: Technical Support and Training Specialist
Job Description: The technical support and training specialist is
responsible for supporting Isoph clients in their implementation and
daily use of the Isoph Blue application as well as managing basic
technical support related to internal Isoph needs. The ideal candidate
will have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to quickly master
software applications, and demonstrated experience in analyzing and
solving software-related issues for end users.
Key responsibilities
relative to managing client technical issues may include:
Setting
up and configuring new Isoph Blue client sites
Serving as first
point of contact for daily support issues
Checking and answering
Web and e-mail support inquiries
Providing phone support to
clients
Developing client-facing manuals and support
materials
Conducting online, phone-based, and on-site training for
the Isoph Blue application
Scanning client sites daily to ensure
proper operation
Advising clients in the appropriate use of Isoph
Blue
Key responsibilities relative to managing and troubleshooting
internal technical issues may include:
Managing relationship with
outsource systems engineering and hosting providers
Troubleshooting
Web, application, and database server issues with support from
outsource systems engineers
Troubleshooting office network issues
and generally overseeing the network
Managing Small Business Server
and Exchange
Creating help manuals for staff as well as conducting
staff training
Providing maintenance of main Isoph Web
site
Given the nature of the position and its responsibilities, the
training and support specialist must be available to work non-standard
hours (e.g., weekends, evenings, and holidays) and may be required to
wear a pager.
