(May 8th): Elections and Oracle on Linux

This is a reminder announcement. We have a meeting today!
(Well, okay, it's not -quite- Thursday, but most people won't read this
until it's already Thursday)

Hello everybody!

TriLUG is having a meeting on Thursday, May 8th. This meeting will have
Pizza, drinks, camaraderie, elections, and a stunningly good talk about
Oracle on Linux.

Yes, that's right, at 7PM May 8th, you can come hear Wim Coekaerts
(Oracle's Linux Guru) speak on "Removing the Single Point of Failure -
Network & I/O Failover", "Clustering with Firewire", "Linux Kernel
Tuning for Oracle" and other Oracle on Linux topics.

Also there will be the yearly Steering committee elections. For that we
actually need your help at the meeting! Please vote!

Again, please come to the meeting and vote!

The Current Nominees are:
Mike Johnson
Chris Knowles
Tanner Lovelace
Jeremy Portzer
Mike Broome
David R. Matusiak
Jason Tower
Roy Vestal

Unfortunately we are losing Lisa Boyd. She assures us that she will
continue to help out with things like classes, but her presence will be
missed.

Did I mention that it would be really cool if y'all would come to the
meeting and vote? :)
