Or, like me, you just pop them in and keep pushing on them until they
feel like they will stay there the entire fligh. The bell-shaped ones,
like they tend to sell from airport vendors, are useless.

The biggest advatage to blocking out the noise is that you tend to
arrive feeling less stressed and tired, which is great when you are
about to walk straight into a meeting.
