A number of the Congressfolk websites I checked out suggested that emails
from outside their constituency would be read, but not answered. Wouldn't
surprise me if they were just filtered, but I suspect it's a manual
filtering Just In Case(tm).

Not useful; that's what I found before I posted. From what I could tell
there, Libby doesn't have an official Senatorial web presence yet. Thanks

Actually, with the anthrax scares, I'd be surprised if the old-fashioned
ways still held. Something I read recently (today; maybe the EFF, or the
article that sparked this thread) suggested that snail mail is no longer
preferred.

Neither e- nor snail-mail would have the impact of a personal office
visit, however. Sen. Edwards at least holds a sort of open-office on
Thursdays for No'Carolinians to drop in and speak to him, no appointment
necessary. This according to his website...
