If you don't like the DMCA, you can do something about it.
In the article "DMCA HORROR SHOW", Russell Pavlicek talks about the
silliness of the DMCA, that forced Red Hat to not disclose to the US
citizens the technical data on a recent vulnerability.

Now, the U.S. Copyright Office is asking for public comment regarding
the law. The feedback period begins Nov. 19 and lasts until Dec. 18. If
you have strong feelings about the DMCA, you'll have an opportunity to
express them.
