Wait, is this the vaunted Nautilus uberthing developed by the vaunted
Eazel? The company with the vaunted developers and designers from the
vaunted original McIntosh team? The ones who designed the vaunted
original trash can icon?
Why didn't they design their own icon?
Well Eazel died a painful death a few months ago, and I'm sure they had icons available, but our little pack of RHAD lab rats has souped up Nautilus significantly and they want their own icons. Understandable.
Everyone here is well aware that the Linux desktops are looking more and more Windows-esque, but so what? They work well for people who want a GUI. And Nautilus is pretty damn cool.
Now if we can just get a truly stable Mozilla build...
> It doesn't pay and we need it fast. Sound enticing?
Well, it is already after 5:00. Did you get what you need? When can
we see it?
I know that they nailed down an icon yesterday, but I haven't seen it yet. I suggested using a tiny little picture of me. Maybe they decided to go with that. Will send word.
Hoping not to write Red Hat off, either, but their future is more in
doubt.
Oh? This is news to me. What do you see as the doom and gloom of Red Hat's future?
Beth
