Heh. Well, before I can bash it, I'll need you to clarify what
you mean. What do you mean? Anonymous encourages and discourages?
How would they be anonymous, and what would they be encouraging
or discouraging? would these apply only to suggestions, or would
they also apply to points of view? And what would the note that's
sent to the original poster consist of? I have this weird vision
of posting a dissenting opinion to the list and, three or four
days later, getting a note telling me that three out of five
readers discourage me. And what would my response be then? To
voluntarily unsubscribe? recant my earlier statement? clarify?
whine about being misunderstood? Or if I post an opinion that
gets a lot of encourages - what does that mean? I get to be
homecoming queen? ... actually, I kinda like that idea. I've
always wanted a tiara. Laaa!

Ahem. Visions of tiaras aside, what would the upshot of this
suggestion be?
