Having spent the last number of days in St. Paul, Minnesota at a
woodturning meeting (damn these meeting schedules), I figured I would
return (Sunday night) to some 60-70F Southern weather. Then this stuff.
Minnesota is in a drought and there wasn't 6-8 inches in the medians in
the Twin Cities.
I wanted to go out and play in the snow, but my significant other
wouldn't let me. (Thanks for reminding me about Val day.) It seems that
I collected some Minnesota cooties up there and now have the flu. Is MN
flu worse than Asian flu? Is the virus pissed off that much more due to
the cold?
It rarely got above 10F and the wind was howling. Brrr... There were
some great restaurants there though. Everyone up there keeps their
houses at about 80F. We had to turn off the heat in the motel and sleep
under a sheet.
Thank goodness for my laptop. Later, Roger (geezer geek at RTI)
