Character in a JD Robb book. <g> I thought her answer (the character, Dallas is a she) was dead on accurate for most folks who "claim" to be [fill in the blank]. They put on their religion on Saturdays or Sundays. The rest of the week their religion is absent.
Oh, we love any type of winter squash soup. That's another way of adding pumpkin into the diet. Or just mashed with some butter and spices. Also, pumpkin cheesecake and a pumpkin jelly roll.

used too much, as an excuse, a fall guy, a weapon, a con. A lot of people,
maybe most, don't mean it except when it suits them." Dallas

Been meaning to ask you Lynda...where did the quote come from? I don't
understand 'Dallas'..
I've never liked pumpkin pie, but I had a pumpkin that was a gift and I
scraped, cooked, and froze several quarts of 'meat'. I took my zucchini
bread recipe and subbed pumpkin for the zukes and yum! I've found a way
to incorporate pumpkin into my diet!
